Human kozak sequence

The Kozak consensus sequence is the protein translation initiation site in eukaryotic cells. It includes 9 base pairs before the ATG start codon, and 1 base pair. This particular sequence has been optimized for proteins whose first amino acid after Methionine has a codon that starts with A by matching the -3 base pair.
